Provided by Technomic Inc.
supplies on the fly
Market Brief is produced by Technomic Inc., a leading provider of consulting and consumer research to the restaurant industry. Every month they include three articles that address relevant industry topics. Technomic provides a summary - the "Bottom Line" as they call it, followed by "Business Building Implications". This quick ending summary will give you concrete suggestions to positively impact your operation and profitability.

One of the "Bottom Line" topics addressed in the August 2008 Issues states:

While restaurants may not be as full or flush with earnings as in recent holiday seasons, there is reason to believe that consumers will still want to celebrate the season with friends, family, and a special meal, provided that restaurants can give consumers the well-priced dishes and atmosphere they crave.
